Equation of a line that is parallel to x-axis with y-intercept b is y=b. Slope of this line is zero. The x-axis is also y=0 line.Equation of a line that is parallel to y-axis with x-intercept a is x=a. Slope of this line is undefined. The y-axis is also x=0 line.
