EXTERIOR ANGLE OF A CIRCLE

An angle formed outside of the circle by the intersection of two secants, two tangents or a tangent and a secant is called an exterior angle of the circle.

MEASURE OF THE EXTERIOR ANGLE

Measure of the angle formed outside of the circle by the intersection of two secants, two tangents or a tangent and a secant is equal to half the difference of the intercepted arcs. (Larger arc minus smaller arc)
